AT-HOME-EXAMTM

The University has devised its own unique At-Home-ExamTM, Online Assessment System to save time, money and energy. Results can be announced soon in a foolproof way. The At-Home-ExamTM System has got all the security features with absolutely no chance of impersonation, consultation, copying and time gap.

 

AT-HOME-EXAMTM is based on the advances in online proctoring software. The software makes it difficult for cheaters to cheat. Advanced auto proctoring and live proctoring help prevent cheating. Live proctors can help detect any suspicious behavior or cheating. The University got it registered under Trade Mark on February 29, 2020.

Research Projects

Three faculty members have successfully completed Major Research Projects and 25 members have completed Minor Research Projects funded by the UGC. UGC SERO sanctioned 7 Minor Research Projects in 2016. All the projects have been completed successfully. Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) of Government of India, sanctioned Research project under the scheme of Teachers Associate ship for Research Excellence (TARE) to Dr. T. Murali Krishna, Head, Dept of PG Biotechnology, in 2019.

Projects and Extension Work

All M.Sc students undertake Community Service and Project work as the part of the curriculum. They spend five days in rural areas render community services and collect samples pertinent to agriculture, water, soil, community health. After thorough research they submit the project reports to the departments concerned for evaluation.

Alumni Rare Achievement

Mr.Challa Ranjith Reddy, an alumnus of (BBM) of Chaitanya Degree College (Autonomous) has got a prestigious and rare assignment as Business Engagement Operation Specialist in the World Economic Forum at Geneva, Switzerland.

India’s Most Authoritative College

The Sunday Indian, The Nation’s Greatest News Weekly issued a credential, India’s Most Authoritative College in 2011. Chaitanya Degree College was declared as India’s next BIG LEAGUE in Science.

Seminars

Seminars are a part of our academic curriculum. All the Students of all courses have to participate in seminars. Based on their presentations, marks are awarded to all the students of Commerce & Business Management. The inherent talents of the students in the area of generating new business plans, development of managerial abilities, innovative ideas etc. are being exhibited at various levels.

Research & Development

Chaitanya (Deemed to be University) is Research and Innovative driven University. The Management facilitates both the teachers and the students to present their research papers in seminars and symposia and also publication in national and international journals.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Our University has entered into an MoU with TCS, an Indian multinational information technology service, consulting and business solutions company on February 14, 2017 for Joint and Concerted Cooperation to execute projects or programs.

Functioning of International Student Centre (ISC)

The academic excellence and achievements of Chaitanya (Deemed to be University) is also attracting candidates from foreign countries to join our University for various courses. The International Students Centre (ISC) headed by Director, International Relations, assisted by a Convener are facilitating foreign students for their admissions into various courses and also providing facilities. All together 186 foreign nationals are pursing various courses at all our University.

Abode to Foreign Students

About 383 international students from 14 countries, Kenya, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Yemen, Nepal, Bhutan, Sudan, South Sudan, Oman, Iran, Tanzania, Gambia, Somalia, USA, and 350 students from various states of India have done and are pursuing degree, PG, Pharmacy and Engineering courses.

NSS

1. 10 Volunteers Participated In Eco friendly Ganesha, workshop-2019 organised by telangana state Bio diversity Board in association with Lee Shreyus Foundation on 24-08-2019 at K.U. warangal.
2. B.Pradeep, D.Akhil are participated in State level program on Telanganaku Haritha Haram organized by NSS cell Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, from 30th Aug-5th September 2019 at Bakaram Jagir,Moinabad,Ranga Reddy District ,Telangana State.
3. 180 N.S.S. volunteers donated blood in Blood Donation Camp on 09-12-19.
4. 103 N.S.S. volunteers donated blood in Blood Donation Camp on 21-12-19.

NCC

JEEVAN KAUSHAL YOJANA

In tune with the UGC latest policy and the MHRD, Chaitanya (Deemed to be University) has initiated a collaborative, multi-stakeholder, multi-pronged, people-centric, inclusive, participatory consultation process of education. LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM® (LSP) is one of them.
LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM® (LSP) covers communication skills, soft skills, ICT skills, critical thinking, problem solving, environmental studies and value education (page 5 of UGC Guidelines on Skill-Based Education under NSQF). Some modules have practical / hands-on portion of the skills component in face-to-face and online modes, conforming to the QPs /NOSs. We can inculcate human values in our students through art, culture, literature, management and technology. We can have Fit India through Ayurveda, health and yoga for
holistic personality.

ONLINE CLASSES

Glad to know that online classes are in full swing in all the departments now. Hope you are continuing them as per the schedule announced well in advance. Please make your online classes open to the students of other colleges and universities too. We can extend this generous gesture to the students who do not have access to online instruction at their institutions. These online classes keep the students safe in their houses and update and upgrade their knowledge. (see Annexure – I for the status of online instruction at CDU)
